Funded DPhil (Oxford), African Print Cultures

A fully funded doctoral position in the study of Anglophone African print cultures is available at Oxford University, supervised by Dr. Elleke Boehmer. The project is called “Trading Texts: Publication Beyond Print in Anglophone Africa.”

From their website: “Trading Texts is a comparative doctoral project that will explore two or three ‘beyond print’ publishing environments in sub-Saharan Anglophone Africa post-2000: in particular, Kenya, South Africa, and/or Nigeria.”
